So I take it this is Meguiar's version of Surbuf pads? And the "correction compound" being a single liquid... similar to M86 So1o?

        Looks promising!

We still can't say an awful lot about this yet, other than it will knock your socks off! Kevin Brown, Joe Fernandez, Nick Chapman and many others around the world have been testing and using it for a while now with fantastic results.

The pads look very similar to the Surbuf pads, which I have enjoyed using with M105 on the DA, with really good results.

Similar pad technology together with custom made polishing liquid is bound to be a winner .

Nice! I hope the price is better than M105/M205. That would definitely put this in my arsenal. I've seen the pics by Joe Fernandez, and they look promising!

I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for more info!

Hopefully my 1st gen. PC won't have a problem using this, unlike thick foam pads.

It will work just fine. And you'll be mighty impressed, we're sure!

One thing I can tell from the pics that's different from Surbufs is that there appear to be two variants of these MF pads -- one backed with burgundy cutting foam, and the other backed with black finishing foam.

Must be the backing material/interface makes a difference in the performance/behavior of the actual polishing media on the face of the pad

                            Michael,

Will this system work with a Flex 3401? It's still considered a DA, correct?

Also, is the finishing wax an actual "wax" with protective properties? Any abrasives?

I can't wait to hear pricing on this. Depending on affordability, I can see this becoming an outright staple product for me.
