Re: Compare UQD and Last Touch??

As you know, Last Touch is a fantastic product, it is available in larger sizes and gives good gloss and slickness. In addition, Last Touch can be cut 1:1 to be used as a clay lube.

UQD is going to give you longer lasting & better & gloss, better slickness, and most importantly, it contains our Hydrophobic Polymer Technology which will give you that beading action ! (LT will not since it was launched prior to this technology)

Each one has it's own set of attributes and we get raves on both all the time.

Re: Compare UQD and Last Touch??

UQD contains hydrophobic polymers that cause it to shed water like a duck - Last Touch does not.

UQD should give more shine and potentially hide some very fine defects a bit better than Last Touch

Last Touch can be used as a clay lube when diluted 1:1 with water, UQD is not suitable as a clay lube.

Last Touch is available in 1 gallon containers and is therefore a very economical way to purchase a mist & wipe product. UQD only comes in one size, unless you opt for M135 Synthetic Spray Detailer, which is extremely similar to UQD. Still, it's more expensive than Last Touch and is not dilutable.

I regularly use both. I like both products for the benefits described above. Both are staples in my arsenal.

          Hey Mike & Mike,

Any progress on my product idea? An AIO mist and wipe swirl-remover/polish/wax/detailer?

It's coming along, John, but opening the bottle seems to let the Genie out and we're having difficulty getting said Genie back in the bottle. Research shows consumers are not willing to pay for a single use product, so we're still working through some of those details. But that's what you get when you're trying to perfect a magic product.

I have both, and to me, Last Touch looks better and gives better gloss. But that's just me. I like UQD for the hydrophobic properties, and I've used it on glass with pretty good success as well.

Is it too late to modify my idea? I'd like to throw in a rinseless wash and clay. Please feel free to call it Ultimate Five Step (UFS)

What about #135, isn't that related to UQD and comes in the gallon jugs?

Can you use #135 with clay or is that not recommended?

You know, I'm a terrible one to pose this question to. Having access to our entire product line, and actually needing to use everything so as to fully understand and appreciate the products, I use a bit of everything. M135 and LT are my regular wipe down products of choice, with M135 probably winning out by a small margin. Honestly, I'm not trying to dodge the question - heck, I don't think my own cars have been waxed twice in a row with the same wax!! And dressing the tires? Product choice changes with mood - sometimes M40 for a nice matte sheen, other times I'll jump to Insane Shine for a high gloss finish. Apparently I suffer from d-ADD (that would be detailing-attention deficit disorder)

No. As with UQD, to which M135 is very closely related, we recommend not using it as a clay lube.
