  • M14 to 5/8-11 adapter

    Hi,

I just recently bought the M105 Ultra-Cut Compund kit with an adapter included for the W5000. I have a Flex rotary but with a M14 spindle.

    Do you know were i can find a M14 (F)to 5/8-11 (M) adapter?

I have tried to find an adapter at several dealers but they just shake their heads. I live in Sweden.

I've already had a machinist make a similar adaptor for a customer of mine to fit a pad on a polisher.

Here in the states they are readily available at any place that sells construction power tools. Surely you must have such a place in sweden

Sounds like a custom adaptor will need to be fabricated as already stated.

Whatever you do to solve the problem would you please post a picture to this thread?

        Thanks!

                      T T T...

When its stated 5/8 - 11UNC - does it means that the diameter of the thread is at 0.625 inches (5 divided by 8 ) and depth of the thread is at 1.1inches?

I just noticed that all my buffers are at M14 X2 and the backingplates that I have (and soon to order) are all of 5/8 .

                      Appreciate the advise.

                      TIA.
