Broken Glow stick leaked on seat.

Hey everyone,

I got a call from my mother-in-law this morning. Somehow the glow stick my sister-in-lae had yesterday broke and leaked on the cloth seats. I have never dealt with golw stick juice before so I figured as here. The cleaners I have available are APC+,APC, upholstery cleaner in the spray can from the detailer line, and my hot water extractor if needed. Any help would be appreciated.

Andrew

Re: Broken Glow stick leaked on seat.

Hmm, found this online, warm soapy water (possibly APC, Quik Out.....)

Glow Stick FAQ

Hopefully that helps.

Re: Broken Glow stick leaked on seat.

I hope the advice given above helps your interior.

Sadly, I lost a Canon EOS-1D Mark III from a glowstick. No amount of APC / NXT / D151 could have brought it back. Got hit with a giant glowstick during a Trey Anastasio concert and the entire unit went dead instantly. It was a glowstick war during the show, I lost to say the least. From that night on, I despise glowsticks.

Re: Broken Glow stick leaked on seat.

I told my father-in-law about using warm soapy water. he called back after lunch and he was able to get it out by himself. Thanks again for the information Aaron.

Thats terrible about that extremely expensive camera.. I hope you attempted to get it repaired. $4k is no joke.
