    Yes and Yes.

Just dilute it to the ratio/look you want. Some people may have 1 bottle with a ratio for exteriors, and 1 bottle with a ratio for interior use.

I'll have to check but this question has come up before and I remember the answer on UV protection is Yes, but only a little.

Mike--What do you recommend for the vinyl cladding that is common today on cars like the Element and the FJ Cruiser? I was thinking that UV protection might be important.

^^^Within the Meguiars line you want the #38 trim and tire gel, IMO of course.

I am now a big fan of All Season Dressing and here is a link to #38 Tire & Trim Dressing Gel.... both are very good products.

Either Gold Class Trim Detailer or M38 Tire & Trim Dressing Gel, I'm not sure why M38 can no longer be found on the Meguiar's website, I have not heard it has been discontinued. If it has I'm going to pick up another bottle as I use this on the Pilot.

Is this the same stuff that comes in a aresol can?

If it is, I would like to use it more liberally on my rubber trim around the windows since they are looking pretty bad. The aresol is nice, but the overspray is a pain to deal with and I can work the product into the trim better with the liquid.

                      Hi Mike,

Were you able to confirm if the Hyper Dressing contains any UV protection or not? And if so, is it significant enough to be a good uv guard for interior and exterior trim.

I had purchased Hyper Dressing based on the premise (based on postings here on MOL) that it did contain UV protection. I use it mostly on my interior vinyl and plastic dashes and plastic exterior trim. I also liked the fact that it was water-based and dilutable. It would be a shame if it didn't provide any UV protection as I am a big fan of it in the short time I've had it...it also seems to last quite long on my car's nose cover thru several hard rain falls and drives.

Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide.

                          hyper dressing

i use this on all my interior work, as well as tires, diluted to what you want as a result.
as far as outside trim,i don't add anything untill the trim looks like it is fading. the reason being is once you do you have to keep doing it. what i like to do is just go over the vinyl with a quick detailer which gives it the clean look. i just think you need to get a look that is clean and not "used car ". but that is just me

I apologize as I dropped the ball on this thread, my mistake and I apologize. I'll contact Mike Pennington our Director of Training and find out what the skinny is and either he or I will post back here with the answer.
