Just an FYI...

Meguiar's now has the New Edgeless Ultimate Wipe Microfiber in a 20 pack and they retail for about $70.

Are those better than a microfiber towel or just about the same ?
I would buy those to remove wax/glaze etc...

They are ultra-high quality microfiber towels. I'll only utilize a top-notch towel, such as the Ultimate Wipe, to remove items from my vehicle's painted surfaces!

Also, these things are GREAT around the house for cleaning glass, mirrors, furniture, and just about anything else in your house that requires an occasional 'going-over'.

has the towel itself changed at all? also is it more like to bind up at the edges? that was the biggest plus of the origanal wipe, NO binding!

I got a chance to use both the old and new ultimate wipes at Meguiars HQ last weekend. The new ultimate wipe is quite a bit more plush and looks to be a tighter weave along with being edgeless. There is quite a bit of difference. I only have the new ones, maybe if someone has both they can post a side by side picture for comparison.

I would have to give the nod to the new ones. I pretty much find though that any major brand is going to "work" just fine. More important to me is how likely they are to scratch my paint. I definitely felt the new ones were less likely than the old to scratch my paint. Not that the old ones would scratch paint but, the new ones are even less likely to scratch. Hope that makes sense
