Re: Ultimate Wash & Wax

So it will leave a film of wax on the windows too, I guess I could use it in conjunction with the UQW I use now to keep my windows water repellant!

Well, technically, yes - but it's going to be a very, very minimal film. It is NOT going to be like applying NXT Tech Wax 2.0 to your glass, for example, or even UQW for that matter.

Re: Ultimate Wash & Wax

Sounds interesting Since I already have the NXT, the Soft Wash and the Gold Class in my collection, I will also try this one
Is this considered a mild or a medium strong soap? Since the NXT soap is a little bit too harsh on the wax, I genereally use the Gold Class whenever the car is not that dirty.
If the car is very dirty, I go for the NXT since I experience the NXT to be stronger.

Re: Ultimate Wash & Wax

Hi all. I haven't been here for a while.

Looks like there are a number of new products that I'd like to try - I enjoy doing my own comparisons. But I'd probably be much more willing to do so if they were made available in smaller (i.e.: inexpensive) trial sizes vs. having to buy the full product. I'll bet I'm not the only one that has a collection of bottles that are 3/4 full of product I'll probably never use again.

Just a suggestion.

Re: Ultimate Wash & Wax

Question:

Why did Meguiar's jump straight to using their "Ultimate" brand name with their first entry to Wash & Wax? Doesn't this sort of limit their advancement in this area as far as naming goes?

Heh

As stated earlier, this Wash & Wax uses a dispersed wax rather than a soluble wax, so it's already far in advance of other such products. Combine that advanced technology with the other advanced polymers included in this product and the term "Ultimate" really does fit.
