Sort of a lemony, fruity aroma but not super strong.

No, it's not going to eliminate hard water issues - if your vehicle is known for holding water in certain areas only to release it a few hours after you've washed and you find a little trail of water spots, you will still have that. You certainly can and should follow with a QD spray if that is the case.

Well the big difference, of course, is the dispersed wax so it really is a different product. Cleaning ability is still there, naturally, but the dispersed wax not only sets it apart from GC but from other wash & wax products too.

No plans for that to happen at this time.

Re: Ultimate Wash & Wax

I guess I can sacrifice the luxury GC smell over the lemony smell if it gets my rigs nicer looking and prolonging the shine! Water spots here are horrible, if the water even looks at my rigs they start spotting up!

I can't wait to try this. I'm sort of hoping Ultimate Wash & Wax makes using Ultimate Quik Wax unnecessary between details (paint cleaning and waxing).

Same here. However, I have found that NXT wash leaves an amazing look after being washed. Not sure there is a wash solution out there that can top NXT Shampoo, in my eyes. I will be trying the Ultimate Wash & Wax though as soon as possible.

Yes, how does this compare to a wash + UQW?

UQW has some pretty tenacious hydrophobic polymers and offers more protection than Ultimate Wash & Wax will. But for those who don't want to do the two steps, UWW is going to be pretty hard to beat.

We'd love to hear some comparisons and thoughts of UWW versus our other car washes. Some of you love Gold Class while others much prefer NXT. It follows then that some will prefer this over the both of those, some might not. We just want to make sure you've covered, regardless of your preferences and goals, and there certainly is room in the marketplace for a truly effective wash & wax product.

I've used every Meguiar's car wash available in the past 4 or so years. Cannot wait to try the new one.

Re: Ultimate Wash & Wax

Very cool product! I will definitely be trying some of this out! What is really so great with this is for my parents cars i.e. my mothers suburban this would be great! Save me some time and for my dad it may be easy enough (only being two steps, wash and dry) that he will actually wash his car now!

The only one I have not tried would be the D Line Super Soap. As soon as I UW&W see this product at Walmart or any auto parts store I will be cleaning out the shelf. I just know its gonna be a winner.
