  • chrome plastic

    what can you use to get scratches out of the plastic chrome that they use for grills. I was going to try plastix, but I'll check for feed back frist.

      you can't feel them. it's more of a marring type scuff.

        I used plastic chrome "door edge molding" and made a custom Billet grille. Just thought I'd share that. I got same problem with scratches though. Don't know how they even got there.

          PlastiX is probably your best bet then, it isn't really all that abrasive so it would be likely to leave any additional markings on the surface.

                ok, I tried the plastix and it got 80 to 90% of the marks out. I'm happy but want to keep trying. Does anyone know if the plastic cleaner and polish in the pro line is any stronger than the plastix or is the only difference that the plastix breaks down as you use it?
