  • hard water spots

I have some hard water spots on the back bumper from a sprinkler and someone told me to dilute vinegar and warm water and apply it to the spots. if I do this, is the vinegar going to damage the clear coat?
    Thanks,

    Monica

I don't think the vinegar will hurt anything. Usually it will take more than this to remove most water spots or etchings, below is an article that discusses this further.

If the spots are etched in the paint you''ll probobly need a DACP to remove them. i have etched spots alover and nothing i've tried will remove them. My next step is to try some DACP.
