Is the Boat line Hard Water Spot Remover ( M4716 ) safe to use on Auto paint? Anyone ever try it?

nope. I think its intended for fiberglass and things like that. Just use an abrasive product like ScratchX by hand or #80, #83 by PC.

If the spots aren't etched into the paint, a white vinegar wash, followed by then a regular wash with soap will work.
