I have a 1998 Ford F-150 truck and I have some paint fading on the hood, top and fender. How can I restore the Finish.

Kind of looks like someone applied a wax or something and didn't remove it all? Or the paint is severely oxidized?
If you want to do a one-step process then get yourself a bottle of ColorX and after washing the car apply this section by section doing a good job of working this strong cleaner/wax into the finish.
