The truck is not supposed to get from point "A" to point "B", the truck is the point.

The first time you polished it, it looked great! But the NXT Metal Polysh took the boat to an even higher level!

Is the Metal Polysh the LSP on the silver, chrome like bottom? Do you top it with anything else? How often do you detail it?

    Hey RamAirV1,

Since the NXT Metal Polysh offers cleaning with protection, I am using it as a LSP. Placing a non-metal type wax on the aluminum seems to tarnish it in a way. So I stick to the metal polishes.

Right now, I am only detailing the boat 2 times per year. That is all it seems to need. I am really curious as to how well the NXT Metal Polysh will hold up to the rigors of fishing!!

    Cheers!

I was wondering about that. It makes sense since the aluminum is uncoated. It will be interesting to see how it holds up. I should get some for my chrome exhaust tips. I was hoping to get some locally but have not found it so far.

That's incredible that it can look that great with 2 details a year, considering the fact that it is attached to your daily driver.

That is too cool! You can start a new career. Just go around to the boat shops and detail boats they have on the showroom floor. Bet they would sell more boats, but I am sure people would complain when their boats don't look as good.

    Hey,

Something I discovered on the last fishing trip. Usually when I get a fish close to the boat, the fish get spooked and take out line. But.... with the boat so shiny and the lake so clear, when the fish saw the boat this time, they went nuts!!!!! To make matters even more interesting, a fish tried to jump and hit the bottom of the boat!!! OUCH! Maybe Meguiar's should make little tags that can be placed on the fish that say..."I have been Meguiarized!!"

Hmmm...maybe I should not take the boat on the ocean...oh Moby.....

This should be a fishing tip on those outdoors shows they have on ESPN. I scan just see all the fishermen that have aluminum boats polishing their hulls with NXT Metal Polysh!

Do you QD your boat when you pull it out of the water? Maybe you should keep some Speed Detailer in the tackle box.
