One of my friend got 1996 red ford mostange. the clear
finish look's so bad... small or thin scraches on the top of
the clear coat.. and you can see them on sun light??

and he asked me to repaint the car with 2 layer of clear coat??
but i told him it can be polished be fine.. but he insisted to
paint the car?? what do you think shall i paint or polish...

however, i've got diamound cut, speed glaze and yellow wax
and makkita rotary polisher with wool and foam pad.

If the paint can be restored back to a perfect finish, then i say polish it. No matter what anyone says, aftermarket clear coats rarely look as good as factory in my opinion. Do a spot, see how it comes out. But its ultimately his decision.

Do you offer auto painting as a service? As in you have a body shop and paint booth?

You can try to educate your customer and explain to him that you can restore the finish by machine cleaning it and give him a price. If he insists on having the car repainted then give him your price for that also and let him decide. Like the saying goes...

(At least it used to go that way... )

        THANKS FOR YOUR ADVISE

        thank you for your reply.

infact, my friend used allot of different polish's till he lost
        the finish,

i am a profissiona painter, but i do not have special painting
booth,, its a good painting room.

on the other hand i am still new in the polishing,
what i am going to do is.. trying to sand all the car with
3m 2000 grit sand paper and then use diamound cut, then
speed glaze and after that will use the yellow polish..

incase if i get bad result will try to repaint the car with clear
        coat..

the man is so happy with my painting, as when i paint clear
its no need to polish but it looks like the mirror
i am using sata digital 2 spary gun with 1.4 nozzle

        thanks you
        great adventure
