  • single stage paint ???

would the paint on a 77 cadilac limo be clear coated??? it's a dark metalic blue. if not do you just go about cleaning and waxing the same way as a car with a clear coat??? it's my grandfathers and i wanted to clean it up for him. i was thinking of using the deep crystal steps 1,2,3. or what do you guys recomend??? it's garaged constantly, i think he has driven once this year so far.

    thanks for any info

If this car has the factory original paint, then it's likely not clear coated. Either way, treat it like a clear coat, that is,

    Wash
    Clay
    Paint Cleaner
    Polish
    Wax
    Maintain

The Deep Crystal System would be a very good way to go with this 28 year old paint job. Be careful around high points like body lines as these areas could be thin by now.

Best of luck, take a good before and after photo.
