  • Interior Detailer stain

    Hey fellow car lovers,

2 days ago i noticed a small white stain on my grey coloured seat.
So i took meguiars ultimate interior detailer on a microfibre towel to buff it off leaving a dark spot(i did not know it wasn't meant for cloth).
At first i thought this would evaporate away but its still there, i've tried the green apc on it dilluted 3/10 agitating it with a soft brush, after i extracted the spot, it seemed to be gone at first but came back just a couple minutes later...

    Any tips?

    Have a wonderfull day !

    Hi daviyow,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Can you post some pictures of the spot on the seat so we can have a look?

        Re: Interior Detailer stain

        Hi daviyow,

We are thinking that there is some D101 APC left in the seat and the extractor pushed it down to the seat foam, and now it is wicking out. The spot could also be water or the Ultimate Interior Detailer residue still left in the seat. In either case, our D106 Pro Fiber Rinse & Tannin Stain Remover would be our recommendation for resolving this.

We would suggest using the D106 diluted at 20:1 in a spray bottle, and using what we refer to as the "bonnet" cleaning method. This is done by wrapping a towel around a brush as shown in the below picture. Spray the diluted D106 directly onto the towel, and then gently clean the area.

Our D106 Pro Fiber Rinse & Tannin Stain Remover is not the most readily available item locally neither is it packaged in a small consumer size. Since you are having the trouble and even though Ultimate Interior Detailer was not intended for the carpet upholstery, we are willing to help you get this product so you can resolve the issue.

When you get a minute, send me a Private Message (PM), with your Name, Shipping Address, Phone Number, E-Mail Address, and we can make the arrangements.

        Nick
