  • M105, M205, then what? M21 or Ultimate Wax?

Hi guys, when i go through wet sanding, then I apply M105, then M205 then M21 sealant. That is where I have a question, right after I apply M205, should I then apply Ultimate wax and then M21? Or is it that if you apply Ultimate Wax you no longer need M21?

Car is a 15 year old black metalic paint, not in the best of conditions, has been neglected for years, only started detailing and caring a couple of years ago. By saying neglected, i mean I was just taking the car to the local car wash with those nasty brushes etc etc etc. pathetic, I know.

Use either one. They are both sealants. UW will last a little longer than M21.

Is UW really a wax or is it a polymer ?

Ultimate Wax is completely synthetic & polymer based.

I went with M105 via orbital, then M105 by hand (light), and finally M7 Showroom on a Basalt Black Metallic Porsche.
Looked pretty good, except any brush touch-ups, unless properly leveled and polished really show-up and kill the overall showroom look.
Also, I think M205 would have been better as the second stage.
Strangely, it's been hard to source M205 locally...Pep Boys, Autozone don't carry it. I'll have to check Advanced Auto next.
