MT320 Dual Action Polisher Rattling Noise?

Hi,

I recently bought a Meguiar’s MT320 Dual Action Polisher, and I would like to ask a technical question regarding my new polisher machine, I hear a very loud rattling noise and this is the only video I found that is able to replicate and explain exactly my problem:

Is this totally normal? At low speeds when the machine is working and when OFF I can hear this rattling and it's kind of annoying, I never expected the machine to be this loud.

The sound in the video of the machine is fairly normal, maybe just a tad bit on the loud side. You are welcome to contact the agent you purchased the machine from to arrange for a warranty inspection. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks! It gives me some peace of mind to know that the sound is fairly normal but at the same time I'm worried to know that it shouldn't be that loud. In person this sound is louder, like some "knocking" is happening at hight speeds, and to be honest this doesn't give me great confidence to use the machine on the paint of my car.

I contacted Amazon UK since this is where I purchased my polisher machine and they send me a replacement after I explained my problem.

Hopefully this "loud" noise won't be so prominent on the new machine, and I shall keep this thread posted with my findings!

Update!

Received my new MT320 Dual Action Polisher and the rattling noise is not as audible as in the fist machine, big difference!

So for anybody having this problem, be sure to apply your warranty and get it fixed or have a replacement sent to you.
