Meguiar's Professional D107 Citrus Power Cleaner Plus

Meguiar's D107 Citrus Power Cleaner Plus is an all-new, highly versatile all-purpose cleaner that was built from the ground up to be a lights-out interior cleaning powerhouse. For those of you that remember our All Purpose Cleaner Plus, Citrus Power Cleaner Plus will be a very exciting addition to your line-up as this product harkens back to that legendary product. This new formula adds to APC+'s versatility by reducing its foaming action even further for extractor use, as well as ditching solvent completely to allow for use in air-power interior cleaning tools.

Of course, D107 Citrus Power Cleaner Plus is not limited to just interior cleaning, but we did go out of our way to make sure it was the most all-around effective-yet-safe interior cleaning APC from Meguiar's.

    • Versatile concentrated all-purpose cleaner that is low foaming and totally solvent-free
    • Especially effective for interior detailing by use of extractor, air tools and hand use
    • Safe and effective on carpets, upholstery, leather, plastics, engine bays, wheels, tires, and more

      Awesome!

      Any recommended dilution ratios?

Do you have to use a damp cloth with water after cleaning with D107 to remove any residue?

When in doubt, you are certainly welcome to do this, but in general, when the product is properly diluted, this practice of taking a damp cloth with water after cleaning is not nesscary, same as D101 All Purpose Cleaner.

                Hope this helps.

                  Thanks for the reply!

When you said properly diluted, you were referring to the 10 to 1 and the 4 to 1 dilution ratio and anything stronger than the 4 to 1 for interior cleaning will it need a damp cloth wipe down?

How does this compare to D101 beside the low foaming? Is it stronger?

                    Hi Torque,

When in doubt, you are certainly welcome to wipe down the surface with a damp towel after application, but in general, just like D101 APC, when diluted properly, at the recommended 10:1 & 4:1 dilution ratios, there should be no need to follow with a wipe down of water.

Here is some information and thoughts for comparing D101 All Purpose Cleaner vs D107 Citrus Power Cleaner Plus. D101 All Purpose Cleaner is formulated around the use of a solvent-boosted cleaning package, which has benefits and uses for certain applications. D107 Citrus Power Cleaner Plus is formulated around a solvent-free package. For users with solvent sensitives, areas with strict regulations that limit solvent use, for applications where low foam is desired, or for use in air powered interior cleaning tools where cleaners which contain solvent can cause respiratory concerns, D107 Citrus Power Cleaner Plus is an option. We would also keep in mind this product was tuned to provide boosted cleaning ability in key areas so that it can clean as well or better than other cleaners utilizing solvents, without the need for solvent ingredients.

Since D181 Leather Cleaner is made specific to clean leather, in most cases it will be the better cleaner for leather, compared to D101, D103(discontinued), or the new D107. There may be some unique stains D107 Citrus Power Cleaner Plus may perform better at than D181 for leather, but again in general, D181 should be your go to for best performance.

Also, if using for leather, remember to dilute D107 Citrus Power Cleaner Plus properly and spray directly onto your towel for application.

White letter tires or white wall tires can be challenging to make look brand new. This product can be used, all purpose cleaner type products are often recommended for this task, like our D101 All Purpose Cleaner or M39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner. Either of the three should work equally effective for this task. Regarding the powercoated wheels, as long as you are rinsing wheel with water first, not spraying the D107 directly on wheel or allowing to dwell or dry on wheel, you should be fine to use the product to clean the tires.

Another tip when you have concerns of one chemical getting onto a surrounding surface is to apply our D111 Shampoo Plus to the surface you would like to protect, then proceed to spray chemical on surface you are attempting to clean, rinse chemical, then rinse off D111. This is often performed in Car Wash/Reconditioning environments for engine cleaning. D111 Shampoo Plus will be applied to panels which surround engine for extra protection, engine is cleaned/de-greased, then D111 is rinsed off. Whether or not you want to take that extra time depends on the situation & sensitivity of surrounding surface, for power-coated wheels, & applying like we explained above, I do not feel necessary, but again, it's an option.
