I am an 80-year-old lady DIY. Retired orthopedic O.R nurse, so I really like tools. My resident is 40 miles from the nearest Walmart so, as you can imagine, finding someone to detail my Toyota is out of the question. Meguiar products/videos have made it possible for me to have a more than decent looking ride. I am at an impasse. Just don't have hand/arm strength to compound out those tiny scratches left by all the old folks opening their doors against my red car when I do get to Walmart and the grocery store. My car seems to be a magnet for them even when I park far away from the door. Aside from buying a $250+ DA polisher, what are my options? Even if I bought the heavy duty type, what is the probability that I might wreck the finish on my 2007 Camry? Hoped that the fairly nearby community college might have a class on detailing, but no such luck. Guess I will need to crosspost this problem, unless I get an answer to this intro. Darren's Auto Fetish Detail Youtube channel turned me on to Meguiar products and it has been a blessing. My grandsons think I have the better supply of auto detailing products than Walmart, especially the professional stuff that must be ordered online. (They no longer live nearby or they would help with the constsant scratch removal.)
