  • How to renew dried out wipes

I have a canister of Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner wipes that were fantastic for cleaning my interior.......until the lid popped open at some point.
Now all of the wipes inside are dried out. Is there any way to refresh them so they work like they should? I tried a water misting but that didn't
work. I can still smell the chemical in the wipes but they are dry and don't clean any more. I did a forum search but found nothing similar. Help!

Welcome to Meguiar's Online! We don't recommend trying to add anything to our wipes if they have dried out. If you think they have dried out in an unreasonable amount of time, you can always contact our Solutions Hub for assistance at 800-347-5700 or customercare@meguiars.com

Thanks for the reply. What is an "unreasonable time"? I keep the container in a pocket behind a seat. The flimsy top opened at some point in the past month.
I have no idea when. I don't want to get caught up in a lengthy telephone chat with customer service if nothing can be done.

Again, if you would like, I would encourage you to contact our Solutions Hub to see if they will do anything. Other than that, we apologize for the experience, but we do not recommend adding anything to the wipes if they have dried out.

Re: How to renew dried out wipes

I emailed Meg C/S a couple years back regarding some faulty trigger sprayers, a couple quick emails and some replacement sprayers & megs bottles were sent to me free of charge. Excellent C/S.

I also recall having some interior wipes dry out on me as well, I recall just pouring some Megs interior detailer into the wipes container and this seemed to recharge the wipes...seemed to work as usual.
I have since switched to just cheapo microfiber towels and interior spray detailer....not really a fan of wipes, even Meguiars
