How much does a deep bumper scratch cost to repair? (pic inside)

The car is a 2009 Nissan Altima. Part of the garage door came down on the bumper. It's deep and goes down to the material of the bumper. I imagine they'll have to fill it in and repaint it, but I don't know if that means they need to repaint the whole bumper.

I've never detailed my car before but my car has scratches and swirl marks all over but nothing like this and nothing noticeable. I've been meaning to get the whole exterior of the car detailed for a long time, but this new scratch put me over.

How much do you think the deep scratch will cost on it's own?

Whether they re-paint the entire bumper or perform a blend repair just for this spot depends on the shop. It is more common for shops in the US to repair & repaint entire panels. It is tough to say how much it will cost as there can be many variables which contribute to the cost.

I took it to an auto salon but they can't fix the gouge because they aren't a body shop. They say it makes sense to get the bumper done at a body shop first before detailing the whole car. This is going to be expensive.

Also, is Scratch 2.0 good for applying on the front bumper where all the small rocks and pebbles always hit it? I forgot to buy Ultimate Compound and I don't plan on going back.
