  • ultimate quik detailer after ultimate liquid wax

From the research I made I understand that it is fine (I hope so ) use Gold class liquid wax and then the ultimate quik detailer (
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EessGFb1bIc )
Instead, if I would like to use Ultimate wax liquid which is a sealant, can I use the ultimate quik detailer after that?
What I mean is, since the Ultimate wax creates a sort of protection, will it create a binding with ultimate quik detailer or the quik detailer won't apply?
In other words is a good practice use ultimate quik detailer after Ultimate wax or is not suggested/needed? thanks

"Is a good practice use ultimate quik detailer after Ultimate wax".

If you mean for follow up maintenance, then yes that would be a good practice.

If you do not water wash your car, using Ultimate Wash and Wax Anywhere could be an even better practice.
It has a higher lubricity than the detailer. Fold your towel twice, giving you 8 sections. Use a clean section (or more for large sections). Roll the towel in hour hand so that the towel picks up the dirt and keeps it from touching the paint. Avoid using a dirty section on the paint.

Another alternative is to use D115 dat 4:1 ratio (very similar to UWWA).
Watch this video for either D115 or UWWA.
Notice how Jason moves his hands and uses good towel usage to keep the dirt from touching the paint on subsequent passes.

No, I asked something different, let me rephrase:

In the video I posted, ultimate quik detailer is used _JUST_ after the wax process with gold class liquid wax, so the questions are:
      1) is fine use Ultimate quik detailer _JUST_ after the gold class liquid wax as showed in the video?
      2) is fine use Ultimate quik detailer _JUST_ after the ultimate liquid wax?

Yes it is OK to do after any wax, but it is personal preference, and not something that we typically instruct users to do after applying our waxes/sealants.

When a user sprays a quick detailer just after applying wax they usually:

        • feel that the quik detailer spray they are using adds more gloss to the paint, so they do this out of personal preference
        • want to add a feature of the quik detailer spray to the paint like added water beading in the case of the Ultimate Quik Detailer
        • are doing this to remove any streaks or dried residue that the wax may have left behind.

The main purpose of all of our Quik Detailer sprays are to allow the user in a spray on/wipe off type application, to safely remove light dust & contaminants. These are primarily used in-between regular washing along with a high quality microfiber towel such as our Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel, and also done on a cool surface in the shade.

        Hope this helps! Nick

Re: ultimate quik detailer after ultimate liquid wax

          Hello Nick,

yes it helped a lot...so let me understand if what I have in mind make sense:
          -washing
          -claying
          -waxing with ultimate wax liquid

after one-two weeks while I will wash the machine again, is fine to use one of ultimate quik wax or gold class quik wax?
Since I already have the sealant protection, I would like to use gold class quik wax for more gloss. Would it help to maintain the wax during the weeks or since I used ultimate wax liquid I should use ultimate quik wax (because they are more or less under the same type/family)?
          Thanks

You could use either quick wax, and yes, you would use them after future washes.

Re: ultimate quik detailer after ultimate liquid wax

Hi all, yesterday I made my first round of wax!

The result wasn't too bad since it is the first time...I have the last question:

              1) I apply the ultimate liquid wax, but after how much time/minutes I can use the supreme shine microfiber to 'remove' the wax?
              2) the same question as before, but if I use the gold class quik wax?

              thanks..

You can either go a panel at a time, applying then removing OR you can do the whole car, then remove the excess. So the range is a minute or two to several minutes. Either way works fine. Using Gold Class QW is not really different than using the Ult QW or Ult QD for between waxing-after washing applications. Wash the car, then use the GCQW as a drying aid OR after you've dried the car as a shine/gloss booster.
