We enjoy this type of discussion everyone! Seriously, we are serious about feedback. Don't forget that there is a New Product Suggestion section if you would like to share other comments. In fact, I'm going to move this thread to there FYI.

    Yep,

I recently was looking to add some 3" pads to my arsenal and would have been great if the same line as the thin disks was available. I ended up going with LC pads but they offer a gazillion of different foams. Like to keep things simple

some 3" foam discs and some 5" discs would have been ideal as I am already familiar with the colors

    I agree.

One of the nice things about Meguiar's pad systems, is the simplicity.

Re: There's a 3" backing plate, so when do we get the 3" pads?

I recently contemplated buying new Lake County 5" pads because I'd prefer to have all of the same brand and foam for all of my pads, and I'm looking to buy a 3" orbital (and LC makes pads in a bunch of smaller sizes, too). I decided to continue buying the 5" Meguiar's thins because they work so well, and just continue to cross my fingers that we see 3" thins from Megs soon.
