Re: Whats the difference between these product??
Hey Alvin,
Plastx is made specific for clear plastics, and is used on an as needed basis to remove light swirls & scratches as well as oxidation. It is primarily used on headlights for light oxidation.
Meguiar's G17110 Headlight Protectant is a protectant made specifically for headlights. It can be used on brand new headlights to help them from oxidizing or can be used on headlights after they are restored to keep them from reverting back to yellow so quickly. It is recommended to be applied every 6-8 weeks. It is a work in/wipe off immediately application. Our newer option for this task is our G17804 Keep Clear Headlight Coating. It is an aerosol product which provides a full year's worth of protection for either new or restored headlights. It is also used in our G2970 Two Step Headlight Restoration Kit.
G14512 Ultimate Protectant Dash & Trim Restorer was our original protectant for colored plastic, certain vinyl, and rubber which included what we called our engineered polymer technology. It restorers the surface to a like new appearance, but because of the polymers included it actually bonds to the material which makes the appearance last for quite a while. It also designed to help preserve these surfaces and protect them against the sun. After releasing this product in the US, we realized that users tend to prefer a spray application for use on the interior. We basically decided to change the name of the original lotion style wipe of the product to Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer(G15812), and marketed it towards use on exterior colored plastics. We then took the same formulation & created a spray, G14716 Ultimate Protectant Spray. I believe internationally it is still sold as the G14512 Ultimate Protectant Dash & Trim Restorer.
Hope this helps.

So from your explanation, my headlamps are oxidate (turn to yellowish colour), and other is also have a scratch/swirls which is like a map (dunno what's called) and the suitable product to restored it is the plastx, am I correct?
Then, can I use the plastx for the stoplamp/rear lamp to make more clear?
