  • Product recommendation

    Hello
I'm looking to keep it simple for me to maintain the appearance and have detailers do the details of appearance. Both inside and out. What products do you recommend for 2017 mazda miata 5 metalic red.
    Thank you
    Charles

Looks nice! Others may give their advice, but for me, if you want to keep it simple, you can go the more "traditional" or less expensive route, but some items are still a must.

I would choose the following: Gold Class Car wash, Clay kit, and the original Meguiars Cleaner Wax, maintained with Ultimate Quik Detailer and Ultimate Quik Wax, and maybe gold class tire shine.

Choose good quality wash mitts, and good quality drying microfiber towels for drying (not sure which particular meguiars microfiber there is out there for drying) and good quality microfibers for buffing off waxes, polishes or even quick detailers.

Same process basically, but with less steps. You car wash, clay, apply the cleaner wax, maintain with the said quick detailers and spray waxes. Sure, cleaner waxes may not offer the best shine or durability, or the best paint correcting ability, but it definitely saves you time. Definitely not the fanciest product combination, but if done early and done right and quite regularly, your car will still be shiny for weeks, months, and years to come. I am biased towards Ultimate Detailer and Ultimate Quik Wax, Gold Class offers similar products, you can't go wrong with either product lines,

As for the interior, you can use leather cleaner and conditioner in one product, while your car is still quite new, you may not yet need to use fully dedicated leather cleaner and a fully dedicated leather conditioner. I believe there is a 2 in 1 Gold Class Leather Conditioner and Cleaner, you can "adjust" the potency of the product by switching applicators. For more bite or cleaning power, microfiber applicators or towels can work better and may give less gloss on leather or vinyl. For light cleaning jobs (more for conditioning), foam applicators usually work better.

Plus, regular vacuuming and interior detailer wipe downs will keep the interior looking good as well (Megs Quik interior detailer or Ultimate Interior Detailer).

In my opinion, with proper technique and diligence, you can get great results without breaking the bank.
