  • Paint Protection vs Paint Sealant

    Good morning,
I understand the new Ultimate Fast Finish i(UFF) s considered a "paint protection" product. How is is different from a "paint sealant" product like M21 Synthetic Sealant? Also, would there any benefit of putting UFF over M21?

    Thanks,
    Vettefan

Re: Paint Protection vs Paint Sealant

Paint protection products are natural waxes, synthetic waxes (sealants) and paint coatings.

Ultimate Fast Finish is a polymer-based product, it's synthetic. It offers Meguiar's longest protection period, up to 1 year, and its application method is different than traditional waxes/sealants (the product gets sprayed on microfiber towel and applied with it to paint surface).

It's a great product to apply on top of any wax or sealant. It will lock the final look, after application of wax/sealant, for much longer time than that product alone. So if you like M21 Synthetic Sealant then use it first and after at least 24 hours add UFF on top of it for that extra protection period.

Regular paint maintenance, with products like quick detailers and quick spray waxes, it's still recommended.
