  • Hello

Hi Group. My name is Barry and I am new to care for vehicle finishes. Up until now I've relied on choosing the right paint color and the manufacturer's clear coat to keep my cars looking tolerable. With an occasional shot of Meguiar's Cleaner Paste Wax if a stain showed up. But a few years ago I purchased an old airplane and in January/Early February I had it stripped and repainted. It's now cured for nearly 3 months and I'm here to learn the best way to care for that paint. See you in the other forums.

You purchased an old airplane?! That is so cool! Why didn't you include a photo of your old airplane with your post? I hope you get great advice. Don't take my advice. I'm just going to guess. Clay that old airplane and then protect it with some synthetic wax.

      Re: Hello

Hi, and thanks for the reply. I put a photo of the plane in the post where I asked my questions, but, you're right, it probably should have gone here. So here is one. Albeit tarnished by my presence.
