  • Starting a Detailing business from Home soon.

    Hello there!

I started detailing cars since I was a kid for my father's used car dealership. That was 40 years ago, but since that time I have only used my detailing skills for myself, family, and friends. So many of those friends and family have told me that I should be in the Detail business. So now I am taking a leap of faith and looking to start a one-person LLC in detailing cars from my home. It will be low volume since it will just be me (plus, I have a daytime job too). I plan to learn a lot here on MOL on how to do professional detailing from my own garage. My goal is to grow a clientele over time and make enough money to leave the boring day job (or go part-time at least) and just do what I love to do - Detailing!!

Any others who have done this type of venture, like I am planning to do, I certainly welcome your input. Also, any suggested threads would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Jeff
