Hi, I recently polished my black car, it's an infiniti so I know Nissan factory paint isn't the best but the imperfections that I can't feel at all with my fingernail won't go away. I Used meguiars m105 compound with a dual action polisher and some pads I bought off of Amazon. Are the pads an issue? Or what is it. I'll try attaching some pics. It looks great from far but upclose you can see everything.

Try following up with a polish like M205 or Ultimate Polish. It could be that you are experiencing micro marring from the aggressive compound and pad.

The M105 is probably too aggressive for these, that marring might actually be caused by the aggressive compound. I would try M09 Swirl Remover or maybe M02 with the red cutting pad (or Harbor Freight orange) or yellow polishing disk (Harbor Freight blue pad).

Can you provide us with the following:
Which exact DA Machine are you using?
Which exact pads are you using & what size are they?
How large of area are you working at a time?
What speed are you running the machine on?
How man section passes are you applying in one section area?
How much pressure are you applying? Is your pad still spinning at a moderate pace when under pressure. Are you keeping the pad flat against the panel ensuring the pad is still spinning?
Below are some articles you can also reference.
