  • How to use Meg's Cleaner Wax with UPW?

Is there a way to use Meg's Cleaner Wax with Ultimate Paste Wax in a way that harnesses the cleaning aspects of the Cleaner but still have UPW directly seal the clearcoat?

    Yes.

Mirror Bright Polishing Wax is exactly what you're looking for.

Otherwise, you can top Cleaner Wax with Ultimate Paste Wax.

Would UPW be able to directly bond to the clear coat as a "topper?"

The longevity of UW will be affected. By how much is hard to say.

I would also recommend Mirror Bright Polishing Wax.

If you are going to top a cleaner wax then I would recommend to just proceed with polishing.

Agreed. The big advantage of the cleaner wax, and other all-in-ones, is only needing to polish over the car ONCE. Boom and done. If your plan is to use Ult Paste Wax as the final product, then polish with #205 or D300, depending on level of perfection needed.
