  • Machines rims and a need for help

    I have an f150 with the stock rims. The faces are machines aluminum. They are scratched and old looking what's the best way to bring the shine back to machines aluminum rims ???

        I would agree a picture would help. Maybe you can find a picture of the same rims and link us to it?

          they are same as these have machined faces ... but mine are all scratchy and dull need to get them back shiny !!

            Since these are factory wheels, then they are clear coated. Meaning you would treat them like paint in terms of polishing them. The clear coat sits over the machined part of the wheel. So you are essentially only going to be able to polish the clear coat and not the actual machined face.

            If the clear coat has failed then of course they need more work and more than likely need to be repaired.
