  • New Car Purchasing Advice

    Hi all,

I'm debating between a CRV and an Escape. Anyone have experience with either vehicle? I'm pretty torn right about now, could use any advice! Thanks!

Escape is definitely more fun to drive, CRV is the mainstream choice, and probably would have better resale value.

    Some look better than others....

Between those two choices I would pick the CR-V. If I'm not mistaken, it's been redesigned for 2017...

It indeed was redesigned! Looks less like an Aztec this year, and more like its own being. Pretty sleek if you ask me, the '17 CR-V.

What's new about the 2017 Honda CR-V? We answer by comparing it to the 2016 CR-V and asking: What's the difference?

I don't have any experience between the two you are looking at. I can tell you my new way of purchasing cars from dealerships is going to be to go test drive & find the exact one you want, then negotiate via e-mail! Takes a little pressure off.

My way of purchasing a new to me vehicle is to bring a along a microfiber towel and some detail spray.... If the paint is softer than cream cheese and swirls every time you touch it, then it's a dealbreaker. It would be a nightmare to own a vehicle with that kind of paint.
