Has anyone used Ultimate Polish to maintain their headlights and tail lights?? I'm thinking it would work fairly well???Thanx

What are you trying to achieve?

Seal the lights on a regular basis and you will have protection on the headlights.

M205 with a cut pad for oxidation and M205 with a polish pad for clarity....but then you have to seal. I suggest the headlight restoration kit (G2000) as it comes with a sealer and a self leveling compound

It is OK to use most of our products designed for paint on headlights or taillights but like others have said it all depends on what your goal is. We recommend using the least aggressive approach as always. Ultimate Polish can be used by Hand or Dual Action Polisher to remove light swirls & enhance clarity on headlights or taillights. It would be recommended to follow up with a coat of wax or some type of protectant after use to provide protection to the factory coating on the headlights.

I'd start with a finer polish like m205 and a soft finishing pad to avoid nasty holograms. Just remember, switch on the lights after initial wipe down to inspect the result.

If everything is fine, I would just wax or A12 Wax to be as mild as possible to the UV coat.

If the coating is cloudy/failing, then polish, UC, etc as needed. And wax, headlight prorectant after.
