  • Please help me to identify color issue

    Hello team,
I have a problem that I cant get an answer to.
I just purchased a car from over seas and have it for about 2 month now.
It looked great until I washed, clay and polish the hood.
Now I see white undertones at an extreme angle.
If you look strait at it, it looks and feels fantastic with such a shine but as sun you move and look at an angel you see what I am talking about.
The paint is original on a fiberglass hood.

If there is an overcast, the paint looks great at any angle.
Also, this is only happening at the hood and on entire hood.

I am trying to add photos but I haven't figured that out yet, but I will

My first thoughts are that these sound like holograms or "buffer trails" inflicted from a rotary polisher machine. Do they sort of look like the below pictures? If so, these typically require a machine to remove, like a dual action polisher with a compound, like our Ultimate Compound. There are a couple ways to insert a picture, but I typically create an album under the gallery tab, then upload a photo into the album, then copy the image into your post.

Sorry for the late response, had an issues with photos...
Anyway, thank you for your suggestion but that is not what I have.

      See the pictures bellow.
The two photos are of the same area where I have the red circle.
The left photo is if you are looking strait down on the paint in the sun and the right photo is the same spot but at an angle and it looks like its under clear coat.

      Any ideas???

To me it looks like either the clear coat is starting to fail or the paint under the clear.
