Whatup fellow auto enthusiasts?

Been tossing the idea of starting a part time mobile auto detailing business up next Spring. I know its pretty far out in the future but its what my work schedule will allow (active Navy about to deploy). I like to work out costs and marketing well in advance before jumping into a possible financial burden, although looking at it I would only be out initial cost for equipment and product (estimated $3000).
Im not going to getting into another "how does my proposed business plan sound" post. Just wanted to get an initial post on here and see if anyone had any tips for starting up. Lessons learned, should haves, ect.

Hope to get to know some of you guys and trade secrets.

Thanks for the input. when i get closer to actually starting up the business I will definitely be posting in the "Detailing for Dollars" section. I have already done a little bit of reading in there and everyone seems very knowledgeable and helpful. Till then Ill be perfecting my craft on the family vehicles, maybe a few friends here and there.
When i get back from the deployment I will probably attend a class or two in Irvine for sure.
