Do I really need to use white wax on a white car.

I have a white car. Look like white wax is hard to find. I have show car glaze number 7 and high tech yellow wax 26. I would like to know would this be fine or will white wax be better? I will be polishing the car and claying also. Please help me with this. It's a pearl white and I want the pearl to shine.Thanks

No you do not. You can use whatever product you want. White is just like any other paint.

White wax is an abrasive cleaner wax which is pad dependent when using a dual action polisher. The wax is still carnauba based but it contains a little synthetic polymers to help with longevity. A cleaner wax is used when one does not have the time to polish a car.

M7 really has no benefit on clear coated paints. For single stage paints is a great product to use. It offers no correction as it is polishing oils used to rejuvenate single stage paints.

M26 is a carnauba based wax. Is it going to out last white wax? Tough to say. But it is a great wax. Are you looking for longevity or look?

If you wish to polish the car I am going to recommend ultimate polish or M205. A dedicated polish will offer more correction than a cleaner wax.

White Wax is a "Cleaner Wax." Light colors respond very well to products with cleaning ability. The cleaning ability works to really brighten up a light color & produce a great high gloss. You can also achieve this by using a dedicated cleaner/polish, like our Ultimate Polish Pre-Waxing Glaze or M205 Ultra Finishing Polish. Are you working by hand or machine?

You can especially notice the benefits a cleaner/polish can provide when used on a machine to brighten up a light colored car and really create a high gloss. For this particular task, if you are using a DA, we would recommend one of our Soft Buff DA Yellow Foam Polishing Discs, & Ultimate Polish or M205 Ultra Finishing Polish, with M205 having a slight advantage since it has more cleaning ability. If you are using a rotary, than a yellow foam polishing pad & M205.

I use Ultimate Liquid Wax but find that White Wax works great to remove slight marring or imperfections that X-Press Wax or a quick detailer won't touch. For example, a dried water drip missed from an emblem or door handle. With a foam hand applicator, I can polish most imperfections away in seconds.

Not really. But if you really want those kind of stuff, try sonax, they offer a rather interesting range of color specific Wax products.

I think our new Ultimate Fast Finish is going to be a very popular go to. Spray on paint & simply wipe off for a year's worth of water beading, protection, gloss, slickness.

Depends on how OCD you are but for a daily driver I would use White Wax with a DA and a Polish Pad as a 1 step solution (polish/cleaner+wax). Doing multi step on a daily driver may drive you mad.

Is my DD with White Wax perfect? No. But it is good enough and better than most cars in my work parking lot!
