Re: Durability Test : Meguiars Hyper Dressing

Cool video! Thanks for sharing! As you mentioned, our D170 Hyper Dressing is water based, so it is not designed for really longest lasting durability. Hyper Dressing is great because of it's multiple dilution ratios, it's versatility to use on interior & exterior surfaces, and the really high gloss it provides when diluted at 1:1!

If a professional is looking for great durability in a large size dressing, our All Season Dressing is recommended. This is very popular for car dealerships where they are washing the vehicles sometimes everyday, or in areas with lots or rain, or any other situation where durability is desired.

As you know, for best results prior to applying a tire dressing, properly cleaning the tires using a quality all purpose cleaner or de-greaser, or a product like our Hot Rims Wheel & Tire Cleaner, or D143 Non Acid Wheel & Tire Cleaner, is recommended.

One other note, a brush is OK for applying to the sidewall & used by many, but you might want to try using some type of soft foam applicator pad with a tight, closed cell foam structure, like our W0004 Soft Foam Applicator Pads. I think it gives the user more control & provides a more even application.

for a water based dressing that can last up to 20 days, it's pretty great.
i have clean the tire with super degreaser, and i like this one better than all season dressing, because it seems ASD attract dust..
