I assume you'll get a multitude of answers depending on how the responder feels about "layering." Some will say that you will just remove the 1st layer and others will say you are just making sure you have complete & even coverage.

I fall into the latter. I don't believe there will be any "thickening" of the UFF coating, rather I think that you will just even up the low spots & missed areas so you will have a consistent layer of UFF on the entire surface of the car.

I also believe that if you wanted to do a 2nd application, you should wait 24 hours, so you don't remove any of the previous layer since like dissolves like, and if the first layer isn't 'cured' you may just be removing it by applying more UFF.

This is just my opinion, maybe one of the other more experienced guys will jump in.

Nick--is the durability of of UFF impacted by the Wax or Sealant used under the UFF?

If UFF lasts a year wouldn't you need to continue to use a spray wax on top of it through out the year? This thread keeps saying use a base wax first.

Read the can and box at Walmart ($12.97) and it states you can extend the length of durability of your base wax. Nick also mentioned it in this thread, but I'm just wondering if it reduces the 365 days of durability of stand alone UFF.

Used it last weekend. Super easy to use, nice looking over UPW. Slickness isn't fantastic, but seemed to release dirt Nicely when I washed it this weekend

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

                          Hi Dsotm,

I checked and unfortunately Ultimate Fast Finish has not received any distribution in Canada at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

                              Hey pwaug,

So the answer is no, based on our testing, applying your favorite coat of liquid or paste wax first, and then applying Ultimate Fast Finish, does not affect the durability. The product was actually designed to be applied this way if the users wishes to do so (or by itself).
