    Re: Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish

12 to 24 hour cure time means application of UFF 12 to 24 hours after application and buffing off of Ultimate Wax?
or does it mean that UFF takes up to 24 hours cure?

The 12 - 24 hour time is referencing after wipe of the product. You just do not want to get the vehicle wet for approx that amount of time after removal of the product for best results.

Wow, up to a year protection? Wipe on ease of use. Catching up, and the first thread has me blown away. I think this is going to be a winner. Can't wait to hear about what else I have been missing. lol

As usual I'm confused by the enormity of Meguiar's product line. Is there any reason why someone should choose Paint Protect over this product?

          Thanks

One of the most if not the most difficult questions to answer.. So many variables, conditions, personal preferences even just for these 2 products.

One reason can be a person wanting something very easy to use, but with a new "twist".. Something easier to use but a bit more conventional than a durable spray on product, or another possibility is that Paint Protect might offer slightly better gloss at the expense if protection. On the flip side, someone might have an already good paint, and want something that offers ease of use with really good durability, which Ultimate Fast Finish promises.

Nick, I'm not sure I've gotten a 100 percent answer. Can this be used over ultimate past after it's cured, or should this only be used as a standalone? Thanks!

                Hi BTLew81,

                Sorry for the late response.

Yes, Ultimate Fast Finish can absolutely be used over & in addition to your existing LSP. In fact we are recommending if you are looking to maximize gloss & the best protection we offer, the ideal combination now would be to polish, wax, and then Ultimate Fast Finish.

In case anyone didn't know, it is available now!

If I apply in my garage what is the coldest temperature I can apply Ultimate fast finish? I am hoping that it will be easier to apply in cold weather than a wax or sealant.

The lowest temperature we recommended is 55 degrees Farhenhit.

So if one wanted to KISS (Keep it Simple) and only use 1 product ..... this would be your longest lasting /best protection offered in Meguiar's line of "waxes" and dethroning Ultimate Liquid/Paste Wax?

thanks! must have missed that reply yesterday when I went over the thread. Looks like I will be trying this new product once the rain/weather cooperates. My bottle of NXT2.0 is almost gone and I never got to try the ULW.

I got mine on Autogeek. Or wait until it hits store shelves in February sometime.
