    California Duster

Does anyone have experience on California Duster?

I saw in the local automobile store and the store clerk sworn that it's very effective.

I had one. Tried an OXO duster and gave the California Duster away. I like the OXO a thousand times better. Check them out. Autopia sells them.

Better yet pick up a body duster from meg's when they are made available. I've been waiting so long to see one locally.

all 3 of those mentioned are exellent. just make sure to not wash it as it will lose the chemicals that are on the fibers. buy any of those 3 stated and you will not be disappointed

What do you like better about the OXO compared to the CCD? I was thinking about the OXO but want to try the Meguiars too.

I had a CCD and am much more satisfied with the new Meguiar's dust mop. Just get close to dust and it ***** it up.

I just washed my California Duster this weekend. I filled the sink with water and Tide and soaked the duster overnight. The water was red in the morning. I scrubbed it using some Tide and my hands then let it air dry. It seems like it still works fine. Did I ruin the product?

I too am waiting for the Meg's duster

i think so. like i said, you removed the chemicals , like waxes and stuff ( sorry i don't know what is exactly on them ) from the fibers. sure it will pick up dirt from the first 2-3 times, but after that, it will be doing more harm than good :\

The only product that California Car Cover Co. recommends using to clean the CCD is Woolite.

Just get another duster, they are not that expensive. And don't worry if the duster turns black, it is still working.

How did you try the Megs dust mop? I keep seeing Coming Soon but still nothing. I'm almost ready to buy a ca. duster.
