  • Buffing Pads

    Hi all,

Has Meguiar's discontinued their W7006, W8006, and the W9006 foam buffing pads? If so, what replaced them, and can the replacements be used with a W-64 DA baking plate?

Sorry, I've been out of the loop for some time now and need refreshing.

      Thanks, Guz!

That's a lot of information to digest at one time. Can my backing plate be used for these new low profile pads? I'm assuming they will work?

        It should work fine.

          Thanks again, Guz!

What is the velcro ID of the 5" and 6" pads? I understand the backing plate sits closer to the edge of the newer pads.

The hook and loop is exactly 5" for the 5" pads. I would think the same goes for the 6" pads. I only own the 5" pads.

              Good enough.

              Thanks!
