    GOLD CLASSCAR WASH vs ULTIMATE WASH & WAX

    Q1: What is the benefit of GOLD CLASSCAR WASH over ULTIMATE WASH & WAX?

    Q2: What is the benefit of ULTIMATE WASH & WAX over GOLD CLASSCAR WASH?

    Q3: IF I were to use Ultimate Liquid Wax, should I use it with ULTIMATE WASH & WAX or GOLD CLASSCAR WASH?

    It doesn't really matter what soap you use. I have used gold class soap, then ultimate paste and it's performance is excellent. You can get the gold class soap by the gallon at Costco for like $9 which is incredible given how many washes you get out of a gallon.

      Also, ultimate has some waxing properties but if you're going to wax after washing there's not really a point of using a wax soap. Also wax soap offers some wax protection but not as good as an application of wax. hope this helps

          Everything posted above is right on. Other than personal preference the real question is simply whether or not you want wax protection in your wash.

            I've actually been mixing the two. I love GC Shampoo for the classic aroma and cleaning ability, but UWW for the wax residue. Together, it's like PB&J I just follow with GCQW, or correction variations as needed. As for the usefulness of the wax, every bit helps, from UWWA, QW, UWW, it all helps prolong the daily driver's finish before having to break out the DA

              Thanks everyone for your input.

              My opinion is that (sorry, I am not an expert):
              GOLD CLASSCAR WASH is normal washing solvent to me.
              ULTIMATE WASH & WAX is value added as it comes with wax.

              But GOLD CLASSCAR WASH is more expensive than ULTIMATE WASH & WAX. This makes me wonder which is better. Hence I posted this question.

                I'm not sure where Gold Class costs more than the Ult W&W.

                Although you aren't in US, so may be a shipping issue.

                Gold Class followed by a spray wax would usually be considered best.
