Hello all,
My name is Erol. I've been a Meguiars customer for about 20 years. I actually still have (and recently used) the original Meguiars DA polisher, which was a Porter Cable model 7338. Old school.
I've been out of the game for quite some time, but glad to be back. I'm no professional and definitely not a weekend warrior, but I have used this particular DA about 30 or so times.
I'm now back because I used swirlremover 2.0 with show car glaze on my stock 1997 white honda civic, and I was very happy with the results. Between swirlremover 2.0, show car glaze, and hitech yellow paste wax, it took me about 16 hours total.
The swirl remover on a burgundy W7006 Cutting pad really did quite well. I have purchased a 2012 Infiniti G37s Moonlight White and that's what brought me back. I really want to make the paint look the best it can with my own hands using a DA, and I've decided to get the MT300 (i read there are problems and I hope that doesn't happen to me).
This forum is full of so much knowledge and information, it's almost overwhelming.
