Typically vehicles should not be waxed between 30-90 days as it will not allow the paint to breathe. This is where M305 comes into play. It was intended for vehicles that have been repainted. Just as Nick pointed out, it allows the paint to breathe while it cures but leaves protection behind.

Slightly different than show car glaze as M7 is a pure polish that leaves no protection behind.

Maybe I will do a bit of a writeup on this product here soon. I picked a bit up in anticipation of getting the front end of the CC resprayed.
Paint is still a few weeks away, but as soon as I get the car back I will do some minor correcting work from the body shop buff job I am sure. And then correct the rest of the car.

I'll use this on it until the paint is cured. So I will be able to get a long term idea of how it acts, longevity, etc.

I will be in the same position here shortly. The car is going in for a respray next week. I will be using this until I end up coating the car.

Should be interesting to compare notes on the product.

High UV index in Southern California is brutal on paint. The bumpers on GM wide body's is notorious for having clear coat failure. That's just how life is.

Had someone back into the front of the car and kill the hood with a trailer hitch. Took it as an opportunity to upgrade to the factory R-Line body kit for my car and fix some other minor body issues.

It will just be the front end and side skirts of my car that is resprayed.

My paint quote was 1600. That is front end respray, blending, and fixing my front fenders, filling in holes from the license plate holder.

Everyone keeps telling me it is a high price, but at the same time, this is one of two body shops in the area that I trust their work and I am a long time customer of theirs.

Body parts were all supplied by me directly. About 1400 into it that.

so ur getting the hood and two side panels repainted? what parts did you buy the new fenders? idk i was thinking my hood would cost 5 hundred to repaint with base and clear, either that or i could just buy a brand new painted hood for 425. i guess that price does seem high going by my very little knowledge and talking to people, you should get a quote from the other body shop see what they charge. obviously we could get it done cheaper at macco or something but they use garbage paint, i guess they use some **** that has the clear and base mixed into one but who wants that? not us f that id rather pay the more money

1400 from the dealer for R-Line front bumper and side skirts and a new front hood.

1600 from paint shop. They are spraying all of the above, plus respraying my front fenders and blending up the A-pillar. Front fenders need to be reworked due to a couple of door dings, and paint chipping where the car used to have mud flaps. They are also filling in the license plate holder holes on the front panel (separate from bumper).

i did some of my car yesterday wiyh 101 it def cuts some clearcoat, there was a deep scratch on the hood that wet sanded with 3000 and used uc on a while ago and that didnt get rid of it 100%. the 101 has it down to almost nothing but i did that section like five times as it was my test spot. so i did the hood hundred percent to the finishing polish and most of the driver side one pass with 101 until i had to stop. appareantly i got a huge peice of metal in my eye at work thursday and it was bothering me so bad working at the car yesterday i had to go get it drilled out. sux becuase i called in friday so i could work on the car. now the cars half done and i can hardley see. i drove it to the dr yesterday all taped up with no wax on half of it lol
