  • WATER SPOTS on my New windows? Hard to see at night with Light shining towards me.

    How do I remove them?
I have perfect vision, just got a 2016 car and drove it at night.

There are these hard water spots on the windows.
Its very very hard to see during night when on coming traffic is coming.
I took a picture and looks like camo on the windows (after CLAYING).
    It is still there!!!!

How do I remove these water spots? I'm sure my car has been sitting in the
new car parking lot all year and its taken a toll causing water spots.

Its more of a vision problem driving at night seeing through all my windows.
(windshield, all 4 side windows and rear w

(why is it soo hard to insert images here?)

Try using a compound to get them off.

Our Ultimate Compound is often used to assist in removing water spots stains on exterior automotive glass. If working by hand, a soft applicator pad works well. Work in a small 1 square foot or so area at a time, applying in circular overlapping motions, keeping you hand flat, and use moderate pressure. Work the product in for about a minute or so. The product should break down to a light wet film which should be wiped off before it dries with a microfiber towel. This can be repeated as many as 4 or 5 times or so in any particular area, but if they are not removed after this many attempts, it will likely require a machine like a dual action polisher.

      Hope this helps - Nick

I have had very hard water spots on my windows from the irrigation system for a year. My windows are now perfectly clear and it was so easy!

            Hello ?
Fill a tub with hot water and add 100 ml of white vinegar. Wash the window with an old rag with the vinegar

While Ultimate Compound typically works if not too severe, our go to recommendation now would be our new Perfect Clarity Glass Care Kit, which has the Perfect Clarity Glass Polishing Compound. More information can be referenced at the below link:

In our experience vinegar only works for fairly fresh water spots. Once they are etched into the glass, it typically requires some sort of abrasive to remove.
