New Car Refresher

In the begining I have to say that I am big fan of Megs products - consumer and pro line and using them for 5+ years constantly and almost 80% are Megs products.
From time to time some bad batches was presented but nothing to upset me lot but this "New Car" Refreshener are something worst I have smell when we talk about car scents.
"New Car" - really???? I just asking myself if guy or team who approve such scent to be sell as a "new car" scent ever sit in the brand new car.
If so, then they do not have any smell sense.
This is medical/clinical smell and it is great for medical institutions and not for a usrt car expect medical ones.
Now I have to find solution how to remove this from my car.
Hopefully I have other one for daily driving and this one will be parked in garage for few days until my So2 Pure arrive in hope it will solve the problem.
I am sorry but all fingers (not just thumb) down for this product.

Hi ARTB155, we are sorry to hear about your experience using our New Car Scent Air Refresher Odor Eliminator. Thank you for your feedback.

You can speed up the time the fragrance is in the cabin by opening up the windows or doors & letting the vehicle "air out." We would also like to mention to remember the purpose of these products are to permanently eliminate odors, the fragrance is an added feature which lasts for a couple weeks.

It seems fragrances & scents are a big personal preference, for example I personally am not a big fan of our Spiced Wood scent, but the New Car Scent is one of my favorites, etc. We do have six different scents currently all which have a "scratch & sniff" fragrance tester on the packaging.

"Scratch and sniff" is great but useless for web orders :-)
I am completely aware that scents are very personal dependant but also suppose that no one who ever seat in the new car can not vote that this is new car scent.
In my oppinion it will be better to find a better name for such a scent to avoid any confuse.

Hello,

I have used also one odor and it was not the "new car" because I didn't like it either. Can you tell me the different odors please?
The shopmanager here told me it can last till 6 months if you have used it.
I forgot the odor, I gues it was something with summer or kind of and I used it begin of August and till now it still smells fine

I have tried a couple of different ones over the years and my wife likes the summer Breeze from Meguiars over any others

Thanks guys for kind reccomendations.
In meantime I find great car scent from other very reputable producer.
Meguiars "New Car" was a dissaster in the sense of scent but it did grat job removing other scents inside interior of my car.
Btw. so called "new car" scent lasts just few days and after that interior was left just with a scent of fresh air.
So, if your primary is removing other scents/odours it is great but if you are looking for long lasting scent pass it.
