Hi guys, I'm Adey and I'm from Plymouth!
Got a new car recently (2006 Focus zetec) and I decided want to learn more about car maintenance and care. After a lot of reading/watching videos online, Meguire's name just kept coming up, so I decided to buy some UC and UP (along with tonnes of cleaning gear!). Then my sister told me she had a variable speed rotary buffer under her stairs, and that I could have it! Awesome, but kinda throws a spanner in the works too, do I , a noob, attempt to use it, or do I get a DA too?
My car (metallic silver) does have some small chips, some down as far as the metal, which I will be attempting to repair with the Ford touch up kit, including wet/dry, compound and the whole shebang.
There is also some slight fogginess to one of the doors too, but over all, for 10 years old, the car scrubs up really quite well (being silver helps of course).
Once I get started I'll probably do some before and afters and make a thread, and hopefully you wont be witnessing a disaster!
Cheers!
