I am going to fix multiple rock chip damages on my bonnet this spring and I'm wondering if you could share your thoughts on my steps.
1. Wash and clay
2. U-Compund and U-Polish with DA Power system(to even out the chip surface hopefully)
3. Rubbing alcahol over chip
4. Apply touch up paint with tooth pick
5. Speed up drying time with heat gun
6. Even out the paint with U-Compound DA Power System
7. Apply clear coat with tooth pick
8. Speed up drying time with heat gun
9. Even out the Clear coat with U-Compound and U-Polish using DA Power System
10. Allow few days before applying protection.
I'm not sure if the Power System will work at all but I got it and I want to make the repair look good, so please share your thoughts on my steps and change them if you want, I've never fixed a chip before.
Thanks in advance.
