  • Hello from Philadelphia, PA - Coffee Stain on Seatbelt

Hi my name is Sandra. I just leased a new car, a 2016 Toyota Corolla. I want to keep it looking new. Unfortunately I already have a slight problem. I spilled coffee on the seat belt. I came to this website to find a way to clean it. I had already decided never to eat in my car now there will be no more drinking in my car. LOL

Welcome to Meguiar's Online! We are going to move your thread to our "Interior Care" forum section in an effort to get more responses. I have some thoughts on how to address the issue you have with the coffee stain on the seat belt, but I am going to double check with a couple of our Pro Sales Reps to get their feedback on how to address the issue, and will reply back ASAP.

Heard back from one of our Pro Reps, we would recommend the same process we suggest for removing a coffee stain in carpet, which is using our D106 Professional Fiber Rinse & Tannin Stain Remover. For seatbelts, definitely do not use any brush or carpet extractor tool because it can damage the fibers of the seat belt. Dispense or spray directly onto stain, and use a cotton towel or microfiber towel to remove the stain.
